We provide prevention and treatment activities directed toward children, youth and their families by offering assessment, out-patient treatment and/or referral to residential treatment to those seeking help. This program seeks to improve family and school functioning, provide greater self-esteem and reduce the use of alcohol and other drugs within this population. Parents are encouraged to attend a weekly support group. A Wednesday evening drop in ?Pizza Night? is held for youth in grades 8 to 10 and provides a safe environment where students can talk honestly and have their questions answered.

Project Playground is a service project that Youth Unlimited helped create in 2009. We were able to take a team of 30+ youth and adults from Mission up to Skatin (north of Harrison Lake) to do a variety of projects in the community. We built a playground, renovated the community hall and worked on a number of homes in this isolated First Nations Community. We are already planning Project Playground 2010 for Aug 15-21 and hope to take about 50 people this year. Contact Barry at barry@youthunlimited.com for more info.
