The Child and Youth Mental Program of the Ministry of Children and Family Development provides therapeutic support to children, youth and their families below the age of 19 years for serious mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, disruptive behaviour and eating disorders. Group interventions are also offered for parents, children and youth to cope with these issues. Our clinicians have cultural sensitivity training and we have an Aboriginal Clinician and Outreach worker who supports children, youth and families of aboriginal origins. Staff, trained in the Early Childhood Education Program, assist parents in their daycare search by providing referrals to screened family daycares, both licensed and unlicensed. The registry has Caregivers who are available on a full-time or part-time basis, for children from new- born to twelve years of age. Chronic Disease Self-Management Program in Punjabi

This is a peer-led patient education program. Participants are adults experiencing chronic health conditions, their family members, friends and caregivers. The program includes information and teaches practical skills on managing chronic health problems. Most importantly, the program gives people the confidence and motivation they need to manage the challenges of living with chronic health conditions.
