Mission, British Columbia   V2V 1H1
The Mission Weavers' and Spinners' Guild fosters the ancient skill of weaving, spinning, knitting and felting by holding demonstrations and displays at events such as Arts Alive, The Mission Arts Council Christmas Craft Market, and a display in the Mission Arts Council Gallery every two years. We designed and created a tartan that reflects the diversity of natural and industrial history of the Mission area; each colour is representative of one or more of Mission's unique characteristics. It is registered in Scotland, and the District of Mission has accepted it as its 'Official Tartan'. Our products are for sale at the Gift Shop of the Mission Arts Council. We meet on the 4th Monday of each month, except July and August, at the Mission Arts Centre.
